Beach portraits are our “specialty” at Lorin Backe Photography. We have photographed thousands of families and couples on the beaches of Laguna and probably have more experience with the beach portrait session than any other photography studio in Southern California. We have been photographing beach portraits for almost 3o years in Laguna. As a result, we know the best time of day and what to expect during the various tides and seasons throughout the year. We know how to capture the “golden moment” when the light is just perfect for portraits. You can see in our samples here how people almost glow with the warmth of the sun in their faces, and the colors are radiant and saturated with the natural beauty of the sunset hour. This is something that only years of experience can be achieved consistently.
